Kids say the funniest things!

I am always saying that I need to write down all of the cute things that my kids say, but I never seem to do it. Well, I've finally decided that it's time - it's just too bad that I can't remember all of the things that that Hallie has said over the past few years. So anyway, we bought Hallie a hamster the other day which she absolutely loves. However, she has not been obeying the rules of the hamster very well so we had to give her a punishment. She is not able to play with her new pet for two days. Later that evening she proceeds to tell me that if I don't take care of hamster during this time that I won't be able to have friends over. She goes on for a bit telling me what I won't be able to do, and then it gets good. She tells me that I won't be able to do the laundry, the dishes and finally that Adam will have to brush my teeth. I'm not sure where all that came from, but she must think that when I brush her teeth it's some form of evil punishment. The other day we were riding in the car and she informed us that it was sweltering in the car. We asked where she learned that word and she didn't know - that one's still a mystery. And thanks to Hallie snickerdoodles will forever be known as snifferdoodles in our house. Now, we all know that Aulden isn't much for words, but he's learning. The first time I heard him try to say movie was the best. He came walking up to me holding up a video and said "boobie". So now movies are boobies at our house. So, if your ever at our house please no one think that I'm going to start nursing Aulden if I ask him if he wants a boobie. I'm so glad for these little moments that make me chuckle!

To clarify the previous statement. I am apparently the only one who remembered Kirk's birthday b/c I called you at work and reminded you to call your brother and wish him a happy birthday. I love you honey but I couldn't let your family think you had them. Wendy

Hallie already has a larger vocabulary than me.
